2025 Terms and Conditions SPECIFIC COMPETITION TERMS
Competition Overview
NZ Bakels (the ‘Promoter’) are giving you the chance to win one KitchenAid Classic Tilt-Head Stand Mixer KSM45 by following @BakelsHomebaking on Facebook or Instagram and tagging someone in the post during the Competition Period. Only comments on Facebook with photo’s attached of Gold Label Baking will be in the draw to win the weekly spot prize of six packets of Gold Label Baking Mixes drawn every seven days during the Competition Period.
Competition Period
1. The Competition opens Tuesday 7th January 2025 and closes at 11.59pm Monday 24 February 2025.How to Enter and Eligibility Mixer Competition
2. To enter the Competition, you must visit https://www.facebook.com/homebakingbakels/, or https://www.instagram.com/bakelshomebaking/, follow the page, and tag someone in the competition post.
Bonus Spot Prices
7 Bonus Spot Prizes drawn weekly for those who add a photo of any baking made with GoldLabel packs. If you attach photographs with your Facebook comment that are featuring another person, you confirm you have that person’s permission to use the photograph as part of thisCompetition and will be in the draw to win one of the weekly spot prizes.
To be eligible to enter the Competition you must be:
a) eligible under the Competition Rules below.
Prize and Prize Draw Details
5. There are eight prizes to be won, these include:
a) Final prize: KitchenAid Classic Tilt-Head Stand Mixer KSM45 RRP $829.00
b) Seven spot prizes: Variety six packs of Gold Label Baking Mixes RRP $41.34
6. All eligible entrants will go into the draw. The winner of the final prize will be selected by theNZ Bakels team on Tuesday 25th February 2025 from all eligible entries received during theCompetition Period. The weekly winner of the spot prize draw will be conducted each Friday during the Competition Period.
7. Winners will be announced on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/homebakingbakels/ and https://www.instagram.com/bakelshomebaking/ and will be notified by Facebook orInstagram message using the details provided at the time of entry. If a winner does not respond to claim their prize within 7 days of being contacted by the NZ Bakels team, the prize will be forfeit and NZ Bakels may select a new winner. Prizes will be posted to the address supplied after correspondence with the winners. NZ Bakels takes no responsibility for lost prizes and/or delayed delivery.
Other Terms
8. These terms and conditions (including the Competition Period) may be amended and the Competition terminated at any time by the Promoter.
9. The Promoter’s decisions on all entry and Competition matters are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
10. If a participant is a winner, they acknowledge that NZ Bakels will post their name and image on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/homebakingbakels/ and Instagram at https://www.instagram.com/bakelshomebaking/, and they grant NZ Bakels a royalty-free licence to use their images for that purpose.
11. All participants grant NZ Bakels permission to use their name and all photographs attached to their comment by them in connection with the Competition and for future promotion and marketing purposes and waive any claims to royalty, right or remuneration for such use.
12. The Promoter will collect and hold personal information provided by you when you enter this Competition, for the purposes of this Competition and for future promotional purposes. If you are a winner, the Promoter may pass your personal information to third parties for the purpose of prize fulfilment. Failure to provide personal information when requested may disqualify you from being able to receive a prize.
13. By entering the Competition, you agree to these Terms and Competition Rules below.

STANDARD COMPETITION OR COMPETITION RULES
Definitions
The ‘Promoter’ is NZ Bakels.
‘Disqualified Participants’ are:
(a) all NZ Bakels employees, all employees of participating sponsors or promoters and/or advertising agencies and their Immediate Families;
‘Immediate Families’ include spouses, grandparents, parents, children, and grandchildren, whether by marriage, past marriages, remarriage, adoption, co-habitation or other family extension.
Entry
1. These Competition or Competition Rules apply to this NZ Bakels Competition.
2. Entry into the Competition is deemed to be acceptance of the Rules and confirmation that the entrant has the necessary authority (for example from the bill payer or owner of a telephone) to enter the Competition.
3. No purchase is necessary to win or participate in the Competition.
4. The Competition is open to New Zealand Residents only. Disqualified Participants may not enter in the Competition.
5. NZ Bakels reserves the right to exclude any person from participating in the Competition on reasonable grounds.
6. NZ Bakels reserves the right to refuse to award any prize to an entrant who NZ Bakels decides (in its sole discretion) has violated the Rules, gained unfair advantage in participating in the Competition or won using fraudulent means.
7. By participating, entrants grant NZ Bakels exclusive permission to use their names, characters, photographs, videos, voices and likeness in connection with the Competition and for future Competition and marketing purposes and waive any claims to royalty, right or remuneration for such use.
8. By entering, you agree that NZ Bakels has the rights to publish your photos and details on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/homebakingbakels/ and Instagram at https://www.instagram.com/bakelshomebaking/, and use your image for Competitional purposes related to the competition’.
9. You consent to NZ Bakels sharing the personal information you have provided upon entry into this competition with third parties as required in order to provide the prize to you.
10. Personal information provided at the time of entry is presumed to be true and, in the case of Facebook message – active, through to and beyond the date of the Competition’s completion.
Winning the Prize
11. Only the person who originally entered the Competition can be awarded the prize (the ‘Winner’).
12. The Winner will be determined in the manner set out in the Rules or the Specific Rules – if not specified then as determined by the Promoter who shall for this purpose be deemed the judge (the ‘Judge’).
13. The Judge’s determination of the Winner will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
14. The Winner will be notified by Facebook or Instagram message and must be available for the preparation of all publicity that may be required by NZ Bakels. Where attempts to contact the Winner fail (e.g. when the Winner cannot be contacted by Facebook message after three attempts or mail sent is returned) the Judge will select another winner. If, after successful notification, the prize is not collected within seven days of being announced it will be regarded as forfeit.
15. The Prize is not redeemable for cash or transferable. No other family members, friends, office associates or any other person will be able to participate on the Winner’s behalf. In the event that the Prize specified in the Competition becomes unavailable for any reason the Promoter may substitute a prize of like or equal value.
16. The Winner takes the Prize entirely at his/her own risk and indemnifies NZ Bakels in respect of any claim for any accident, injury, property damage or loss of life that may occur in connection with the prize. Where the Prize has associated terms and conditions the Winner accepts the Prize subject to those terms and conditions and restrictions.
NZ Bakels Responsibility
17. NZ Bakels reserves the right to amend, vary, extend or discontinue a Competition at any stage, for any reason.
18. NZ Bakels takes no responsibility for any inability to enter, complete, continue or conclude the Competition due to equipment or technical malfunction, inadvertent disconnection, Force Majeure or otherwise.
19. To the fullest extent permitted by law NZ Bakels will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or for personal injury as a result of Competition entry or winning the prize.
20. Where the Prize is to be supplied by an entity outside NZ Bakels control and that entity fails, for whatever reason, to supply the prize, NZ Bakels has no responsibility for the provision of the Prize and is not obliged to provide an alternative Prize or to take legal action to require the Prize supplier to provide the Prize.
Acceptance
21. Participation in the Competition is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
22. If the Winner does not accept these Terms and Conditions the prize will be forfeited.
